Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor Up to £55,000

Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Leeds (Hybrid Working)

Salary: £40,000 to £55,000 depending on experience

Thebusinessspecialisesinprovidingexpertcostmanagementandconsultancyservicestoprivatedevelopers,withaparticularfocusonnewbuildandlargescaleresidentialschemes.

Thisisakeyroleofferingthechancetoshapehighvalueprojectswhileplayinganimportantpartinthecontinuedgrowthofthebusiness.

The Role

As Senior Quantity Surveyor ,youwilldeliverfullcostmanagementservicesacrossarangeofcomplexprojects.

Youwillberesponsibleforensuringcommercialsuccess,drivingvalueandsupportingclientsthrougheverystageoftheprojectlifecycle.

Keyresponsibilitiesinclude:
  • Managingprojectbudgetsandcostplansfrominceptiontocompletion
  • Preparingfeasibilitystudiesandcostestimatesfornewdevelopments
  • Carryingoutriskassessmentsandvalueengineeringtooptimisecosts
  • Advisingonprocurementstrategiesandproducingtenderdocumentationincludingpricingschedules
  • Leadingnegotiationswithcontractorsandsupplierstosecurefavourableterms
  • Overseeingfinancialcontrolandreportingagainstbudgets
  • Preparingandreviewingcontractdocumentationtoensurecompliance
  • Managingvariations,valuationsandpaymentsthroughoutdelivery
  • Providingstrategiccostadvicetoprivatedevelopersonmajorresidentialschemes
  • Deliveringpostcontractcostcontrolandfinalaccountsettlements
