Site Supervisor - Roofing

Project Overview

Supervision of hot melt roofing works across five residential tower blocks (largest 12 storeys). Works include Sika hot melt roofing systems, installation of interlocking insulation, and inverted roof finishes with paving.

Role Summary

The Roofing Supervisor will act as a non-working supervisor, responsible for managing roofing activities, quality assurance, health & safety, logistics, and site coordination. The role requires strong experience in flat roofing systems and high-rise projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise all roofing activities in line with programme and specifications

* Oversee installation of Sika hot melt systems, insulation, and inverted roof build-ups

* Ensure works comply with drawings, manufacturer requirements, and QA standards

* Complete and manage QA documentation, DABs, permits, and inspections

* Use Procure and RDrive for document control and reporting

* Manage site logistics, deliveries, and material coordination

* Maintain and enforce Health & Safety standards at all times

* Coordinate with site management, subcontractors, and suppliers

* Carry out regular inspections and report progress/issues

Minimum Requirements (Essential)

* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) – valid

* CSCS Gold or Black Card

* Proven experience supervising hot melt roofing systems (Sika preferred)

* Experience on high-rise / multi-block projects

* Strong knowledge of H&S, permits to work, and QA procedures

* Ability to manage documentation digitally (Procure / RDrive or similar)

* Good organisational and communication skills

Desirable

* Manufacturer training or certification with Sika

* Experience with inverted roofs and paving systems

* First Aid at Work
