About the Company
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading national contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering large-scale, high-quality residential and mixed-use developments across the UK. Known for excellence, innovation, and consistent delivery, this contractor works on flagship schemes and maintains long-term partnerships with major developers.
The Project
A major new-build development in Hough Top comprising high-volume, high-end residential units. This is a fast-paced, quality-driven scheme requiring strong leadership, exceptional organisation, and proven residential delivery expertise.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
This is an ongoing role offering long-term stability on a prestigious development.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all on-site activities and coordinate subcontractors
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies
* Manage build programmes and drive progress to meet deadlines
* Maintain high-quality standards throughout all phases of construction
* Conduct regular site meetings and liaise with senior management
* Monitor budgets, materials, and resource allocation
* Ensure customer care and finishing standards meet high-end expectations
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on volume residential new-build projects
* Experience working for leading general contractors / national house builders
* Strong understanding of housing construction processes and sequencing
* Excellent leadership and team management skills
* Ability to manage multiple trades in a high-volume environment
* Strong communication and organisational abilities
* Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification
