Building Surveyor

My client is seeking a talented Building Surveyor to join their growing Building Surveying & Project Management team.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-respected, multi-disciplinary practice with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, commercially focused advice across the commercial property sector.

My client is an established property consultancy based in Leeds city centre, advising institutional investors, private clients and corporate occupiers across the UK.

Their Building Surveying & Project Management team provides a full range of professional services including acquisition surveys, dilapidations advice, refurbishment and fit-out projects, contract administration and strategic property consultancy.

As a Building Surveyor, you will:

• Undertake building surveys, condition reports and technical due diligence
• Provide dilapidations advice for landlords and tenants
• Manage refurbishment and fit-out projects from inception through to completion
• Prepare specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation
• Produce clear, commercially focused technical reports
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships

You will work across a diverse commercial portfolio and play a key role in the continued growth of the Leeds office.

• Degree qualified in Building Surveying or related discipline
• MRICS qualified or working towards chartership
• Experience with in commercial building surveying
• Strong technical and report‑writing ability
• Confident communicator with client‑facing experience
• Self‑motivated and commercially aware
