About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager to lead and deliver a variety of construction projects based out of West Yorkshire. This role will involve managing works across civil engineering, renewable energy developments, and residential apartment schemes, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable managing teams and subcontractors across multiple project types.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day site operations from project start through to completion
* Manage subcontractors, site staff, and suppliers to ensure efficient project delivery
* Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies
* Monitor project programmes, budgets, and quality standards
* Conduct site meetings, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
* Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders
* Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation
* Ensure works are carried out in line with specifications, drawings, and regulations
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years’ experience working as a Site Manager within the construction industry
* Proven experience across civil engineering, renewable energy, or residential developments
* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
* Valid First Aid at Work certificate
* CSCS Card (Manager level)
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple trades and coordinate site activities effectively
* Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to travel and work on projects requiring time away from home
