This varied role will provide the Assistant Quantity Surveyor with the opportunity to work on complex projects to provide quantity surveying support, as well as support on distressed projects and assist with their recovery.

Specialising in quantity surveying for main contractors and specialist subcontractors, the consultancy provides solutions for a wide range of construction-related issues such as cost increases, program delays as well as assistance during busy procurement periods or resolving final account issues.

Alongside commercial advisory, they also analyse construction cases to pursue or defend claims, and provide independent quantum expert witness services to international law firms for high value, technically complex matters.

• Experience as a Trainee/ Assistant Quantity Surveyor, ideally working for a main contractor or a specialist subcontractor.
• Experience of standard forms of contracts
• Strategically minded with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Able to adapt to and learn new technologies.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• A BSc in Quantity Surveying or a degree in Cost Management or similar is preferred.
