Salary: £50,000-£60,000 with car allowance.
Are you ready for an exciting career move? We're seeking a talented Senior Building Surveyor to become a key player in our Leeds based team, including Project Team Leader responsibilities, with the added benefit of potential hybrid working. This is your chance to work on a diverse range of captivating projects spanning Residential, Education, Blue Light, Fire Remedial Works, and Capital Improvement initiatives.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Building Surveyor with us, you'll embark on a journey of professional growth and fulfilment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Project Management Mastery:
Lead and manage projects and project teams to ensure successful outcomes. - Surveying Prowess:
Conduct measured surveys of existing buildings or sites, showcasing your attention to detail. - Inspection Excellence:
Visit sites, carry out thorough inspections, and deliver comprehensive inspection reports. - Design and Build Proficiency:
Prepare Employer's Requirements for Design and Build purposes, showcasing your strategic thinking. - Tendering Artistry:
Invite tenders for the main contract, conduct tender analysis, and compile detailed tender reports. - Project Lifecycle Expertise:
Work on the full life cycle of projects, from specifications to schedules of work, demonstrating your comprehensive approach.
- RICS accredited Building Surveying degree
- Chartered status or actively working towards APC.
- Project Leadership:
Proven experience in successfully managing interdisciplinary projects and project teams. - Sector Savvy:
Background in housing, residential, and/or existing buildings. - Skilful demonstrated expertise in core building surveying and project management.
- Track Record: A successful history of managing programs of work, highlighting your organizational prowess.
- People Person:
Personable with excellent rapport-building skills and a commitment to outstanding client care.
