Site Manager / Senior Site Manager

As a Site Manager you will manage, control and support the engineering, construction and completion of projects on time and on budget for a project based in Leeds, reporting to the Project Manager and becoming an integral member of the construction team.
Responsibilities- Managing a complex construction process, including mechanical & electrical installations.
- Ensuring appropriate quality records are produced and monitored to verify compliance with specification requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety Management Plan, BAM Operating Procedures and Construction Phase Management Plan.
- Working to programme and associated deadlines.
- Setting up and monitoring handover schedules, keys, spares and completion documentation.
- Implementing BAM construction environmental procedures on site.
- Keeping site diaries including subcontractor attendance and progress records.
- Managing direct and subcontractor packages and maintaining associated records.
- Providing input on buildability issues as required.

- Experience working on various types of construction projects.
- Broad construction‑based technical experience.
- Relevant Health & Safety qualification, preferably SMSTS.
- Comfortable with IT packages and systems.
- Self‑motivation and ability to work autonomously.
- Good communication skills.
- HNC/Degree, MCIOB or equivalent, or a trade background.
- Full driving licence.
