- Advise on a broad range of contentious construction matters across both public and private sector projects.
- Act for developers, lenders, landlords, tenants, PPP organisations and public sector bodies.
- Work on disputes arising from JCT, NEC and bespoke construction contracts.
- Play a key role in the delivery of complex, high-value and strategically important mandates.
- Take an active role in developing and strengthening client relationships.
- Support the continued growth and expansion of a highly regarded construction practice.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across real estate, banking, projects and wider construction teams.
- Lead on matters, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and contribute to the successful delivery of client objectives.
- Mentor and support the development of junior lawyers within the team.
- Qualified solicitor with 7+ years' PQE in construction law.
- Strong experience handling contentious construction matters.
- Excellent grounding in construction and engineering disputes gained within a recognised construction or real estate practice.
- Experience advising on disputes arising from standard form and bespoke construction contracts.
- Proven ability to manage complex matters and coordinate colleagues across multiple disciplines.
- Strong client relationship and business development skills.
- Experience supervising, mentoring and developing junior lawyers.
- Commercially minded with the ability to deliver clear, pragmatic and strategic advice.
