Senior CDM Principal Designer ​/ H&S Consultant

Multi discipline construction consultancy with offices in London, Marlow and Leeds is looking for candidates who meet the Senior Principal Designer / H&S Consultant requirements to join the team in Leeds. Part of the RPP Group, RPP Management Ltd has been established since 1984 and has built a reputation for providing professional but pragmatic advice to our clients retaining long standing relationships.

TYPE: Permanent / Full Time

To be considered, candidates should demonstrate:

• Construction, engineering, architecture or health and safety related degree qualification (or equivalent)
• Certified Member of APS (or working towards)
• Ideally CMIOSH or Gradi OSH with a commitment to professional development
• Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering Principal Designer, CDM Advisory and construction health and safety services
• Experience working directly with clients and managing projects independently
• Strong understanding of CDM 2015, design risk management and construction health and safety legislation
• Knowledge of Building Regulations Principal Designer duties and competence requirements would be advantageous
• Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships through high-quality service delivery
• Strong technical, communication and report writing skills
• Experience managing multiple projects, prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines
• Practical construction knowledge and experience of site inspections, audits and contractor engagement
• A proactive, collaborative and professional approach with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
