Quantity Surveyor – Structural Steelwork

UK Industry: Structural Steel / Construction Type:
Permanent
- Take full commercial ownership of projects after contract award
- Produce commercial budgets and strategies
- Support procurement of materials and subcontract packages
- Prepare, submit and agree monthly applications for payment
- Lead change control and price all variations
- Negotiate variation values with clients
- Manage and maximise project cashflow
Monitor and control internal and external project costs - Provide commercial and contractual support to project teams
- Ensure all contractual notices and procedures are issued correctly
- Prepare final accounts and monthly commercial reports
- Mentor junior commercial staff
- Minimum 3 years' QS experience
- Structural Steelwork Experience Is Essential
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
- Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (preferred)
