An established construction business is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join its Small Works team, delivering a range of refurbishment, redevelopment and construction projects across Yorkshire and the wider UK.

This is a varied role, with responsibility for managing projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the successful delivery of construction, refurbishment and redevelopment projects.

* Plan and coordinate projects from pre-construction through to completion.

* Manage project budgets, costs, risks and opportunities.

* Coordinate subcontractors, designers, consultants and key stakeholders.

* Ensure pre-commencement, regulatory and compliance requirements are met.

* Work with design teams to develop safe, practical and buildable solutions.

* Manage subcontractor performance, programme and quality.

* Review RAMS, COSHH assessments and relevant safety documentation.

* Ensure projects comply with CDM and Health & Safety requirements.

* Work closely with Commercial teams on procurement, cost control and change management.

* Monitor progress against programme, budget and scope.

* Produce clear and timely project reporting.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

* Proven experience managing construction projects and multiple subcontractors.

* Strong project leadership and stakeholder management skills.

* Good knowledge of CDM Regulations and construction Health & Safety.

* Strong understanding of JCT and NEC contracts.

* Good commercial awareness and experience managing project costs.

* Experience delivering refurbishment, redevelopment or small works projects.

* A proactive approach to risk, quality, programme and delivery.

* HNC/HND or degree-level construction qualification.

* SMSTS would be desirable.

* Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
