Job Title:

Customer Services Representative

Salary: £28k pa > £35k pa: for an exceptional Candidate

Role based: SW London / Surrey Area / Within M25.

The Customer Services Representative will be liaising with sales team and clients, estimating, booking in work and chasing through production.

– The important thing for the Client is that they appoint the right person with a positive ‘can do’ attitude therefore they will also consider someone junior at an ‘entry’ salary level and training them up to develop into the role.

Role responsible to:
The Customer Services Manager

Role aim:
To manage specified customer accounts, including estimating, booking in work, proofing, production control, and final job sign off before delivery.

To liaise closely with customers and sales representatives to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

To support the Customer Services Manager which may involve deputising and controlling the Company’s workflow and scheduling.

The work includes:

  • Book in jobs for printing, ensuring accurate job instructions
  • Production control including:
  • Job proofing
  • Ensure jobs are produced in the most cost effective way
  • Order stock to fulfil order – e.g., paper
  • Ensure correct stock is received from suppliers
  • Book in jobs with suppliers, and making sure work is delivered and returned on time and to the required standard
  • Ensure the job production schedule is adhered to and deadlines are met
  • Take responsibility for checking and despatching completed jobs and filing job and plate bags etc
  • Ensure MIS job records are accurate and any extras recorded before invoicing
  • Liaise with Customer Services Manager or customer, as appropriate where queries or problems arise
  • Contribute positively to the effectiveness of the team
  • Carry out other tasks as required by the Customer Services Manager
  • Maintaining close contact with customers, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Contribute to the overall effective and smooth running of the company
  • Produce accurate computerised estimates for customers
  • Obtain prices from suppliers for outside work to be included in estimates
