Customer Service Agent

Location:

Cross Green, Leeds

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with some Saturday mornings required

We are looking for a Customer Service Agent to join our busy team at Panda Recycling in Cross Green.

You will handle enquiries from commercial and domestic customers, supporting them with bookings, quotations, orders and service updates. You will also work closely with our Traffic Planning and Operations teams to resolve issues and keep services running smoothly.

• Handle a high volume of inbound calls, emails and online orders
• Respond to customer enquiries professionally and promptly
• Provide written and verbal quotations
• Process orders and accurately update customer records
• Act as the first point of contact for complaints or service issues
• Make outbound calls regarding service changes or rescheduled work
• Work closely with Traffic Planners and Operations teams
• Prioritise tasks in a busy and changing environment
• Support the wider customer service team when required

• Previous customer service experience, ideally within a contact centre or busy office
• A confident and professional telephone manner
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Confidence handling complaints and difficult conversations
• The ability to stay organised and work under pressure
• A proactive and helpful approach
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Own transport, preferably, due to the site location
