Competitive, depending on experience About the Role We are looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Customer Service Advisor to join a growing team in Brighton. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer support, resolving enquiries efficiently, and ensuring a positive experience for all customers. This role would suit an individual with excellent communication skills, a passion for helping people, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, live chat, and social media channels. Provide accurate information regarding products, services, and company policies. Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner. Process orders, returns, refunds, and account updates. Maintain accurate customer records and update CRM systems. Work closely with internal departments to ensure customer queries are resolved efficiently.
Meet individual and team performance targets, including service levels and response times. Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and service processes. Handle sensitive customer information in line with GDPR requirements. Provide administrative support as required. Skills & Experience Required Essential Previous experience in a customer service, contact centre, retail, or administration role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively. A customer-first approach and positive attitude.
Desirable Experience working within a contact centre environment. Knowledge of CRM systems such as Salesforce, Hub Spot, or Zendesk. Experience handling complaints and escalations.
