Triumph Consultants are looking for a Waste Operations Team Leader to help manage their client's domestic waste collection service, ensuring collections are safe, efficient and delivered to a high standard. Contract is for 2-3 months in Leeds LS9 0RJ
.
Pay Rate: £19.32 per hour PAYE
Hours per week: 37 Monday - Friday
Key requirements
- Experience managing operational teams in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of waste and recycling services.
- Strong communication skills, including handling difficult conversations.
- Good IT skills and the ability to use computer systems.
- A customer-focused approach and the ability to work well in a team.
- Supervise waste collection crews to ensure work is completed safely and on time.
- Coordinate staff, vehicles and routes to maintain an efficient service.
- Monitor service performance and resolve operational issues.
- Investigate and respond to customer complaints about waste collections.
- Promote health and safety, ensuring procedures are followed and incidents are reported.
