We are recruiting for motivated, caring and compassionate individuals for the role of Apprentice Dental Nurse.
This full time position (37.5 hours per week) is based supporting Beeston, Chapel Allerton, Bradford and Hull and in various departments of the Leeds Dental Institute on a rota basis.
Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and have a minimum of 4 GSCE's (grade C and above) with English Language, Maths being essential and a Science subject as a desirable.
On successful completion of worked based practical assessments and coursework, you will receive a Level 3 qualification in Dental Nursing. Successful applicants will work as a team member within the Dental Team. They will assist Dentists in the management and treatment of patients in the Dental Surgery in their allocated department giving direct hands on care to patients, and will attend timetabled study sessions.
Out Full Time Apprenticeship in Dental Nursing is an 18 months apprenticeship. We are recruiting for apprentices to start in February 2027.

What You Will Bring ToThe Role
The jobholder will be undertaking a training programme within the Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust (LTHT). The training will be delivered through formal education delivered by the School of Dental Care Professionals situated within Leeds Dental Institute, and clinical placements. They will be involved in providing direct and indirect care for patients in support of and supervised by a registered dental professional.
