Role – Senior Landscape Architect
Location – Gloucestershire
Salary – £DOE

Our client, a well-established, multidisciplinary studio based in the Cotswolds is looking for a Senior Landscape Architect with a strong focus on Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA) to join its growing team. They work on a variety of interesting and sustainable projects and the office is in a great spot for transport links, with easy access to the M40 and A40, making it straightforward to reach from Oxford, London, and Birmingham.

THE ROLE
The Senior Landscape Architect will lead and deliver LVIA and landscape planning projects, including residential and renewable energy schemes. They will produce high-quality graphics and clear, well-written reports for planning submissions, manage project timelines and budgets, and communicate effectively with clients. The role also involves supporting and mentoring junior team members, working collaboratively with the in-house ecology team to deliver integrated landscape-led solutions, and contributing to wider landscape design and management plans across projects.

QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY SKILLS

  • A degree/post graduate in Landscape Architecture
  • Chartered Landscape Architect (CMLI) or equivalent experience
  • Strong experience in LVIA with a clear understanding of UK planning processes
  • Ability to manage projects independently while working collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent report writing and graphic presentation skills (AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, GIS desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport
