The Role – Business Graduate - Consultant - Human Centred Design

As a Graduate Business Consultant you’ll join our Human‑Centred Design team within CGI’s Global Technology Operations (GTO) business area, where creativity, collaboration, and problem solving are central to the work we do. From day one, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that make a real impact.

Our graduates are trusted with responsibility from day one, contributing to some of the UK’s most exciting industries. You’ll contribute to the design of intuitive, accessible, and meaningful products and services that deliver positive outcomes for clients and communities. Working alongside experienced consultants, designers, and technologists, you’ll develop creative and technical skills while gaining hands‑on experience across a variety of industries.

Your future duties and responsibilities

In this role, you will support the delivery of user‑centred and insight‑led projects that help clients improve products, services, and experiences. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand user behaviours, contribute to research and discovery activities, and help shape solutions that are functional, intuitive, and engaging. You’ll gain exposure to Human‑Centred Design approaches while developing consulting, communication, and problem‑solving skills in a fast‑paced and collaborative environment.

You’ll be encouraged to contribute ideas, ask questions, and explore creative ways to solve complex challenges. Working alongside experienced CGI Partners, you’ll build practical experience in user‑focused design, stakeholder collaboration, and service improvement while developing the confidence to make a meaningful contribution to project outcomes.

Locations:

We recruit Business Graduate Consultants in our London and Leeds offices. As CGI is a consultancy, you may be required to work in different locations, so adaptability and a willingness to travel are key.
