The role of Estimator – Bespoke Joinery & Woodwork includes:

* Estimator position dealing with a range of woodwork and joinery projects for the fit-out sector

* Whilst primarily an Estimator position, the successful candidate will also support procurement and operational activities, ensuring the smooth delivery of projects from enquiry through to completion.

* Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotations

* Negotiating with sub-contractors and suppliers

* Producing formal quotations to customers

* Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines

* Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database

* Contacting customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information

* Establish and maintain relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Bespoke Joinery & Woodwork with

* Must have Design experience within the Woodworking or Joinery sector

* Highly advantageous to have previous experience on retail fit-out projects

* Would be beneficial to come from the tools (joiner / machinist etc.)

* Ideally have AutoCAD experience, open to 2D or 3D

* Organised with good attention to detail

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* Full UK driving license

* Computer literate (Microsoft Office)

* Ability to work in a fast paced environment

* Good team player who also works well individually
