Part 2 Architectural Assistant
Location:
Berkshire Salary: £28-34,000
An exciting opportunity has become available for a talented Part 2 Architectural Assistant in Berkshire to join a thriving architectural practice renowned for its bespoke residential projects. The successful candidate will become part of a creative and collaborative team, working on beautifully crafted homes and interiors while gaining valuable experience across a range of project stages.

- Support the design and delivery of bespoke residential projects across multiple RIBA stages
- Prepare design packages, planning submissions, and technical drawings
- Assist with the development of interior design concepts, finishes, and material selections
- Produce high‑quality visual presentations and client‑facing documentation
- Collaborate closely with project teams, consultants, and contractors
- Attend project meetings and contribute ideas throughout the design process
- Assist with detailed design development and technical coordination
- Contribute to sustainable and innovative design solutions
- RIBA Part 2 qualified Architectural Assistant
- Previous experience within the UK residential sector, ideally on high‑end private residential projects
- Strong design flair with a keen eye for detail, materials, and spatial quality
- Interest in architecture and interiors, with interior design experience considered advantageous
- Excellent graphic, presentation, and communication skills
- Organised, self‑motivated, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment
- Proficiency in Vectorworks is beneficial
- Interest in sustainable design, with knowledge of Passivhaus principles, CGI, rendering, or AI visualisation tools viewed favourably
