Architectural Technologist – Leeds, City Centre

Produce, coordinate and review detailed technical drawing packages across all RIBA stages. Support the technical delivery of large‑scale Education projects from concept to completion. Develop detailed, compliant and buildable technical solutions in line with UK Building Regulations and industry best practice. Provide comprehensive technical packages using Revit. Work closely with architects, senior technologists and multidisciplinary project teams to coordinate design information.
Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors, attending design team meetings where required. Assist in coordinating projects through planning, technical design and construction stages. Manage workload across multiple live projects, ensuring deadlines, budgets and quality standards are achieved. Contribute to continuous improvement of technical standards, procedures and project delivery. Research and develop innovative technical solutions, adding value to projects through proactive problem solving.

- Degree (BSc) or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology.
- 2‑5 years’ post‑graduation experience within a UK architectural practice.
- Strong working knowledge of Revit and Microsoft Office.
- Good understanding of the UK Planning process and Building Regulations.
- Experience producing detailed technical packages across multiple RIBA stages.
- NBS software experience would be advantageous.
- MCIAT status, or working towards Chartership, would be advantageous.
- Excellent written, verbal and graphical communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- Able to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Proactive, technically confident and committed to continuous professional development.
- Live within a commutable distance of Leeds City Centre.
