An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Senior Architect / Project Architect to join a well-established multidisciplinary practice in Leeds. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing creative design with project leadership, client engagement, and mentoring others.
You'll have the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of projects, leading schemes from concept through to completion while helping to shape the future of a growing studio.
The Role
As a Senior Architect / Project Architect, you will take ownership of multiple projects, leading the creative and technical design process while ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained throughout.
Working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams, you'll develop strong relationships, guide design decisions, and inspire colleagues through collaboration and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
Lead architectural projects from concept through to completion.
Develop imaginative, practical design solutions that meet client aspirations and project requirements.
Coordinate project teams and contribute to design reviews and collaborative workshops.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
Represent the practice confidently in client meetings, presentations and networking events.
Mentor and support junior team members, encouraging creativity and professional development.
Contribute to business development and help generate repeat business through excellent client service.
Champion design quality and contribute to the continued growth and success of the Leeds studio.
About You
To be considered, you will have:
ARB registration as an Architect.
Proven experience delivering architectural projects across all RIBA work stages.
Strong design and technical ability with experience leading projects and teams.
Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
Proficiency in Revit and other industry-standard design software.
A collaborative approach with a passion for mentoring and developing others.
Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to lead design discussions.
A full UK driving licence is desirable.
