This is a 10PA locum appointment for a Consultant Paediatrician, with special interests in General Paediatrics. This post will be available from November this year for a period of 6 months. The post will be based at Leeds General Infirmary. The successful applicant should hold accreditation in Paediatrics in the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health or equivalent, and should be on the Specialist Register or within six months of being admitted to the Register for trainees if currently in a training programme within the UK, or have references which have been authorised by the Deputy Medical Director and Clinical Director.
The role has a vast mixture of secondary and tertiary paediatrics supporting an extensive array of other tertiary specialists across Leeds Children’s Hospital. The role will include acute work in the Children’s Assessment and Treatment unit (CAT) and on the Children’s inpatient wards, as well as outpatient work in the form of general paediatric clinics. Excellent communication and team working skills, a strong commitment to teaching and service development are essential.

This post will deliver 10PAs supporting the General Paediatric Medicine Team at Leeds Children‘s Hospital at Leeds General Infirmary team.
