Provide Education are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to support one of our partner Primary Schools in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT with a passion for upper KS2 teaching. If you’re excited about helping pupils grow in confidence ahead of Year 6, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Year 5 curriculum
Support pupils’ progress in core subjects, particularly in preparation for upper KS2 expectations
Create a positive, inclusive and structured classroom environment
Track, assess and report on student attainment and development
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, support staff and leadership teams
Promote excellent behaviour and maintain high expectations
Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupil learning and well-beingRequirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
Previous experience teaching in Upper KS2 (Year 5 or Year 6 preferred)
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to deliver differentiated lessons and support a range of learning needs
A nurturing, pupil-centred approach to teaching
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
