Prospero Teaching is looking for an enthusiastic and committed EAL (English as an Additional Language) Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in North Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to help students develop their English language skills and thrive academically.

Role Responsibilities

Provide targeted support to students with English as an Additional Language across KS3 and KS4.
Work collaboratively with teachers to adapt resources and deliver interventions.
Encourage language development and confidence in both spoken and written English.
Track and report on student progress to ensure effective support.

Ideal Candidate

Holds an ESOL qualification (desirable).
Previous experience supporting EAL learners in a school setting is desirable.
Strong communication skills and a proactive, patient approach.
Must have a valid Enhanced DBS or be willing to apply for one.
Right to work in the UK.
