About the Role:
Full-Time Maths Teacher

This position is for a dedicated and ambitious Teacher of Mathematics to join a supportive and high-achieving faculty in a vibrant secondary school environment. The role is pivotal in shaping student's mathematical capabilities, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills across Key Stages 3 and 4. Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
• Eligibility to work in the UK (Proof of right to work).
• Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
• Knowledge of current UK educational standards and curriculum.

• Proficiency in Lesson Planning and resource creation.

• Patience and Empathy when supporting struggling learners.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver an innovative and engaging Maths curriculum
• Teach high-quality, personalised lessons to secure strong progress and outcomes.
• Uphold high expectations of all learner's achievement and behaviour.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress accurately and timely.
• Establish and maintain constructive, supportive relationships with students.
• Develop and implement interventions for students with diverse needs.
• Actively participate in departmental and whole-school Continuous Professional Development.
• Collaborate effectively with the Maths department and wider staff team.
• Communicate regularly and productively with parents/guardians.
• Contribute to the extracurricular life of the academy where appropriate.
