We are currently working with a number of secondary schools across Leeds who are seeking reliable, confident, and adaptable Cover Teachers to provide high-quality classroom cover on a supply basis.

These roles are ideal for qualified teachers, ECTs, and experienced practitioners who are looking for flexible work while continuing to make a positive impact in the classroom.

As a Secondary Cover Teacher, you will deliver pre‑planned lessons across KS3 and KS4, maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher. You will work across a variety of subjects, ensuring pupils remain engaged, focused, and supported throughout the school day.

Placements range from day‑to‑day supply to short‑term and long‑term cover, depending on school requirements and your availability.

• Deliver high‑quality, pre‑set cover lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
• Implement school behaviour policies consistently and confidently
• Ensure pupils remain engaged and on‑task during lessons
  
  Adapt delivery to meet a range of learning and behavioural needs
• Communicate effectively with school staff regarding pupil engagement and behaviour
• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities at all times

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Confidence delivering lessons across multiple subjects (or your specialist area, where applicable)
• Professional, calm, and adaptable approach
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Availability during school hours (term time)
