Prospero Teaching is looking for an enthusiastic and committed EAL (English as an Additional Language) Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in North Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to help students develop their English language skills and thrive academically.
Role Responsibilities- Provide targeted support to students with English as an Additional Language across KS3 and KS4.
- Work collaboratively with teachers to adapt resources and deliver interventions.
- Encourage language development and confidence in both spoken and written English.
- Track and report on student progress to ensure effective support.
- Holds an ESOL qualification (desirable).
- Previous experience supporting EAL learners in a school setting is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, patient approach.
- Must have a valid Enhanced DBS or be willing to apply for one.
- Right to work in the UK.
