Leader Education are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to work at a local secondary school in Leeds. This school caters for children aged 11-18 years old and was recently rated “Good” by Ofsted. The normal working pattern is 8:30 am to 3:30 pm and will be a long‑term role subject to a successful trial day.

• An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
• Experience working in a transferable role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Some experience working with or alongside pupils with SEND
• A compassionate, resilient and patient personality
• Good understanding of safeguarding and the welfare of children and young people
• Familiarity with tailored interventions and programmes used to support pupils
