Teaching Assistant Level 2 – Delta Academies Trust

Salary Grade D (Points 6‑8) £25,989‑£26,824 Full‑Time Equivalent, pro rata. Minimum actual pro rata salary £3,566.21. Part‑time, temporary position, starting January 2026.

Work under the instruction of teachers and senior staff to undertake work, care and support programmes, enabling pupil access to learning and assisting with classroom management. Duties may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.

• Support teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities.
• Assist pupils with learning, behaviour and wellbeing.
• Carry out tasks in both guided and supervised settings.
• Help manage classroom logistics and resources.
