Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant
We are looking for a Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming secondary academy in Leeds from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with SEN experience to develop their experience and skills whilst working in a team of friendly and dedicated staff, and making a difference to the life and education of young people with SEN.

Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant – The Role- Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant
- Shortlisting for role now, September 2025 start date
- Long-term role, until July 2023
- Full-time Monday – Friday position
- £460 – £560 per week, term-time only
- Secondary Academy in Leeds
- Mainstream school with excellent SEN support that benefits all pupils
- Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant
- Support students with SEN
- Providing support to students inside and outside the classroom
- Work 1: 1 and in small groups
- Become a part of a friendly and dedicated team
- Encourage the participation of students in the social and academic processes of the school
- Enable students to become more independent learners
- Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant
- Experience supporting children and young people with complex needs
- Prior experience working in an SEN school or environment would be ideal
- Good knowledge and understanding of SEN
- Positive, friendly and adaptable personality
- Desire to improve the lives and education of young people with SEN
