Position: History Teacher January

Pay: Pay to scale
Contract: Full time, long term (with potential to extend)

We are looking for a passionate History Teacher to join a welcoming Leeds secondary school from January. What you’ll be doing
  • Teaching engaging History lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Creating a warm, structured environment where pupils feel confident to contribute
  • Bringing topics to life with stories, discussions, and creative activities
  • Working closely with a supportive Humanities department
  • Assessing progress and offering thoughtful feedback that helps pupils move forward

  • A qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge and a real enthusiasm for History
  • A reflective, approachable classroom style

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
