A welcoming and supportive secondary school in the local area is looking for a dedicated RE Teacher to join them on a part time basis. This role begins on Tuesday the twenty fourth of February and runs through to Friday the seventeenth of July. It is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys teaching Religious Education at lower school level and is looking for a well balanced and consistent timetable.
The school has a friendly and collaborative Humanities department that places a strong emphasis on creating meaningful and engaging lessons for KS3 students. As the RE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering thoughtful and structured RE lessons that help pupils develop their understanding of different religions, beliefs and cultures. You will be joining a supportive environment with clear schemes of work and strong pastoral systems.
This position involves teaching RE to KS3 classes exclusively, allowing you to focus on building strong relationships with students and supporting their progress throughout the remainder of the academic year. There is no requirement to teach GCSE in this role, making it ideal for someone who prefers working with younger year groups or wants a steady, manageable timetable.

Requirements
• QTS• Experience teaching Religious Education at KS3
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• A positive, adaptable and supportive approach to teaching
• Availability every Tuesday and Friday for the full duration of the contract
