Position: Teaching Assistant Job Education & Training Jobs

Teaching Assistant - Leeds (Full-Time, SEN/SEMH Focus) Start: ASAP

Milk Education are partnering with a welcoming Primary School in Leeds who are seeking full-time SEN Teaching Assistants to join their caring and inspirational team. We are looking for individuals confident in supporting primary-aged children with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).

You will be joining inclusive, supportive schools that celebrate diversity and provide a nurturing academic environment for pupils with additional needs.

Hours:

Monday-Friday, 08:30-15:30

Contract:

Initially week-by-week, with the potential to progress into a long-term role

Your Role & Responsibilities
  • Promote inclusion and acceptance for all pupils

  • Provide consistent, individualised support based on pupils' needs

  • Work alongside the class teacher to plan, evaluate and adapt lessons

  • Deliver targeted catch-up sessions

Teaching Assistant Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
  • Recent and relevant experience (within the last two years) working with children or young people with SEN

  • A genuine passion for education

  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills

  • Ability to work under teacher guidance

  • Reliability and punctuality
