English Tutor

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic English Tutor to deliver face-to-face tuition to students in their homes and local libraries across the Liverpool area. Hours are flexible and can be arranged around the tutor's availability; however, we are particularly looking for someone who is available for morning sessions.

You will be working one-to-one with students, tailoring lessons to meet individual learning needs and helping them build confidence and competence in English.

• Deliver engaging, personalised English lessons face to face
• Support students with reading, writing, grammar, spelling, and comprehension
• Adapt teaching methods to suit different ages and abilities
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback
• Travel to students' homes and nearby libraries across Liverpool

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or previous English tutoring experience
• Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and core literacy skills
• Friendly, patient, and supportive teaching approach
• Reliable, organised, and punctual
• Ability to travel locally within the Liverpool area
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
