Location: Harlowton Center
Position: Head Start Teacher
Employment Type: Full-Time – 40 hours per week
Central Montana Head Start is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Head Start Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This role is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment that supports the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children.
Responsibilities- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum
- Promote school readiness through language, literacy, and math activities
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff
- Maintain accurate records and assessments
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent coursework)
- Experience working with young Head Start children preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must pass state and federal background checks
