SEND Teaching Assistant Primary Schools (Leeds)

We are currently recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to work across primary schools in the Leeds area
, supporting pupils with low developmental attainment and additional learning needs
.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and adaptable individual who is committed to helping children thrive in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

You will be working closely with teachers and SENCOs to support pupils who may require additional help with:

• Early learning and developmental milestones
• Phonics and literacy intervention
• Language development and communication
• Emotional and behavioural support
• Students with SEND and, in some cases, EAL pupils who are new to the UK and facing language barriers

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 3 desirable)
• Experience supporting children with SEND
• Knowledge of Phonics and Read Write Inc
• Ability to adapt learning approaches to individual needs
• Confident supporting pupils with communication and language challenges
• Patient, nurturing, and proactive approach

• Competitive daily rates £12.07 £ 14.43 per hour (depending on experience)
