Purpose of the roleYou will contribute to the delivery of various full-time programmes which are developed in partnership with renowned institutions such as Canterbury Christ Church University, Bath Spa University, St Mary's University Twickenham London, and others.
MainDuties & Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality teaching and learning across various programmes within a Higher Education setting, focusing on foundational aspects of your subject.
- As associate lecturer you will also be required to go through training and shadowing of other lecturers
- Collaborating with colleagues to contribute actively to the development and continual improvement of courses.
- Participating in the creation of module-specific Scheme of Work and developing relevant module materials.
- Delivering subject-specific sessions in alignment with learning outcomes and syllabuses.
- Deploying assessments appropriately as outlined by the assessment team and providing timely formative feedback to students.
- Ensuring compliance with Programme Specifications of respective Awarding Bodies and Universities.
- Producing module/unit reports and contributing to the School’s Research Department.
- Demonstrating effective communication with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Master's degree and/or a PhD in the relevant area.
- Previous lecturing experience for similar courses at HEI level.
- Work in line with Blackboard / VLEs, MS Teams / Zoom.
- Experience working in the industry of your subject.
- Teaching qualifications: PGCHE, MA in HE Practice, or FHEA, etc.
