Connex Education is working with a secondary school in Leeds and assisting them in recruiting an English Teacher to work full-time.

Connex Education are seeking an English Teacher for an ongoing temporary position. The school are looking for an English Teacher who holds experience with KS3 and KS4. The school is located in South Leeds and is part of a well known academy group.

The role is to start after February half term until July 2026. This is a maternity cover meaning it may extend to October 2026.

• must be 21 and over
• Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
• PGCE
• You must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one
• Have experience teaching English in a UK secondary school setting.
• Be able to plan and deliver engaging lessons across ability ranges.
• Have excellent behaviour management and classroom control skills.
