The Shawano School District has an opening for a Maintenance Worker
. You will work district-wide with the maintenance team, but will primarily work at our Hillcrest location. We are inviting self‑starting, energetic, and trustworthy team players to apply.

In this position you will be responsible for maintaining our school campuses to ensure they remain safe, well‑maintained, and functional for students, staff, and the community. Every day you will use hands‑on skills that will in turn create a welcoming learning environment. You will experience a wide variety of maintenance duties that change with the needs of the schools. Responsibilities include but are not limited to overseeing the school’s outdoor and indoor environments to guarantee the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of the facilities.

Upholding health and safety regulations while responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner is critical to your success.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license. Any post‑secondary or related education is desired, but not required. The ideal candidate will have two or more years of maintenance related experience.
