This is a perfect opportunity for those with a keen interest in developing their skills inmedical education, who want to work within a friendly, supportive and highly experienced team of educators.
Successful candidates will be involved in creating, innovating and delivering teachingacross the Undergraduate medical curriculum using a variety of teachingformats. There will also be opportunities to develop special interests withineducation, including the potential support to study for a PGCert in Medical Education.
Please note we do not have access to Horus to review portfolios.

Main duties of the jobDescribe What the candidate will do :
The Clinical Teaching Fellow (CTF) role is a trust doctor role that exists tosupport, develop and deliver undergraduate medical education within Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust (LTHT) across the MBChB programme.
Therole includes teaching core curriculum and student guided topics, alongsidesupporting clinical placements. The educational resources are constantlyrefreshed and reviewed, allowing CTFs to be involved in all stages of theirdevelopment. The teaching produced is innovative, using a range of differentmodalities, including small group, simulation, bedside and technology enhanced learning.
Studentsupport and wellbeing is a key focus within the role and all the team work collaboratively to ensure an inclusive and equitable learning environment forall.

The Clinical Teaching Fellow role exists to support, develop, and deliverundergraduate medical education within Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust (LTHT) to University of Leeds Medical Students and associated undergraduate allied health professionals in line with multi-professional learning.
Thisrole is based at The Undergraduate Hub (The Hub), St James's University Hospital (SJUH) but will involve work across the Trust sites.
The Hub plays a crucial role in the undergraduate MBChB student experience at LTHTand is well recognised by students for not only delivering a quality corecurriculum but also as a place that promotes individualised learning and student support. Each year the Clinical Teaching Fellows develop a dynamic andhigh-quality teaching programme that is in line with educational reform,innovation, educational theory, and gold standard guidelines.
This work is completed with the guidance of Senior Educators and is underpinned by theteam's dedication to innovation and collaboration within the Trust.
The Clinical Teaching Fellow role is an exciting role which provides a range of excellent opportunities for clinicians to develop their teaching, leadership,and personal development skills.
