We are looking for a teaching assistant with a real passion for helping children and young people with SEN and SEMH needs. The ideal candidate will be qualified/experience. Newly qualified level 2 and level 3 teaching assistants are welcome to apply.
Details- Location — Leeds
- Position — SEN Teaching Assistant
- Contract or position start date — October 6th
- Duration / Likely Duration — Long-Term Contract
- Full time/Part time — Full time
- Rate of pay — GBP
85 - GBP
115 per day (depending on experience) - Hours — 8:30 am – 3:30 pm, Mon‑Fri (term time only)
- Support and scaffold children in the classroom.
- Prepare resources with the teacher.
- Work effectively in partnership with other professionals and parents/carers.
- Able to adapt practice to support the varied needs of children.
- At least Level 2 trained
- GCSE English and Maths grade C
- Hold Right to Work in the UK.
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
- Provide two professional child-related references.
