Aspire People are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated English Learning Mentor to support students in a thriving secondary school in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate, aspiring teacher, or experienced mentor who is committed to raising attainment and building student confidence in English.

• Deliver targeted English intervention sessions (1:1 and small group)
• Support Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students with reading, writing, and exam preparation
• Work closely with the English department to raise achievement
• Build positive relationships with students who require additional support
• Monitor and track student progress

• Hold a degree in English or a related subject (preferred)
• Have experience working with secondary-aged students
• Be confident supporting GCSE English Language and Literature
• Demonstrate patience, resilience, and strong communication skills
• Be passionate about education and student development
