SEND Teacher

Teacher Active is proud to be working with a fantastic SEND provision based in Leeds, who are looking to appoint a SEND Teacher on a long-term basis. The setting provides a supportive and nurturing environment where children and young people are encouraged to build confidence, independence and achieve their full potential both academically and socially.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated SEND Teacher on a full-time, long-term contract. The successful SEND Teacher will be working with pupils with a range of SEND needs, delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual abilities while supporting emotional, social and behavioural development within the classroom.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

• QTS

• Experience working with children and young people with SEND

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• The ability to adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs

• A patient, resilient and nurturing approach

• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
