Your Role

As an Apprentice SEND Teaching Assistant, you’ll support children and young people with additional learning and emotional needs, helping them achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Assisting pupils with SEND, SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and learning needs
  • Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive behaviour
  • Supporting classroom learning and interventions
  • Helping teachers prepare lessons and learning resources
  • Building positive relationships with students and staff
