The School of History is seeking to employ a dynamic individual who is passionate about inspiring and supporting our students with research‑led teaching.
We are looking for an individual who can teach across a wide range of modules across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, with the expertise to teach both specialist modules in British colonial and South Asian history, and other modules across our BA History and postgraduate degrees. The successful candidate will be responsible for convening and teaching HIST
3392 Eastern Subjects:
British Attitudes to India , HIST
2315 Mughals, Merchants and Mercenaries: ‘Company Raj’ in India , and HIST
3100 Colonial Bodies:
Life and Death in British India, , and seminar teaching in history more broadly such as HIST
1510 Global Empires and HIST
2025:
History in Practice. The successful candidate would also supervise undergraduate dissertations/final year projects.
