Permanent, Part Time, Term Time Only plus 1 additional day

Salary NJC Scale Point 3 - £25,614 per annum (£13.28 per hour)

Role 1: 17 hours per week (7:30am - 8:45am and 3:00pm - 6:00pm, Monday to Thursday). Actual Salary £9,919 per annum.

Role 2: 8.5 hours per week (7:30am - 8:45am and 3:00pm - 6:00pm, Wednesday and Thursday). Actual Salary £4,959 per annum.

Required September 2026.

The Governors are seeking two enthusiastic and creative Play workers to join our Catholic primary school. This is a great opportunity to become part of a small, friendly team that plays a vital role within the school community.

Responsibilities

The main purpose of the role is to supervise and engage with children attending our Out of School Club, plan and deliver enjoyable activities that encourage play, participation and the development of positive friendships. You will manage behaviour and support children in resolving conflicts in line with the school’s behaviour policy.

  • Able to communicate effectively with pupils and staff.
