Location: Bootle, Sefton

Salary: £168.80–£261.79 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

Connex Education is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher (Reception) for a school based in Bootle starting in September 2026. This is a full‑time role on a fixed term of one year initially with options to go permanent following this.

The ideal candidate will have an outstanding working knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and 2+ years of experience as a Nursery or Reception teacher. The school would like to meet with interested teachers in the next week to finalise their recruitment for September. This position is open to Early Career Teachers as well as more experienced teachers.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS.
• Experience teaching Reception or Nursery.
• Good working knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, flexible attitude.
• Current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one through Connex.
