The Elland Academy are looking to appoint an Education Welfare Officer, to join our academy in September 2026, on a full time, permanent basis.

Your new roleAs an Education Welfare Officer (EWO), you will provide a service for students and their families. You will ensure, with others, that students receive education appropriate to their needs by regular attendance at the academy, assisting them to obtain maximum benefit from their education and be involved in the development of the service and staff.

Your new schoolThe Elland Academy is an Alternative Provision Free School catering for schools and academies across Leeds, Wakefield and Kirklees. At the Elland, the child is at the centre of everything we do. We offer a broad and balanced curriculum that supports the various needs of the learners that come to us.
